Will Jacques

A product of the hippie culture of the University of Colorado circa 1979 (where he studied a variety of subjects, including biology, anthropology, and art), Jacques became fascinated with the supernatural, and has since accumulated vast amounts of both classical and contemporary paranormal literature. He also has a keen interest in Pagan mythology, particularly Celtic and Germanic. The blending of these influences—hippie psychogenic, horror imagery, and Pagan symbolism—helped shape Jacques’ unique conversational and literary art style. His artistic goal is to create art that both inspires discussion and gives the viewer’s eye a thrill.
When not drawing, Jacques enjoys running, juggling, riding unicycles, playing the mandola, kayaking, and teaching middle school science.
Jacques creates his art freehand, using only an ink pen. He never uses a pencil or any kind of technology.
